ABOUT THE LAB

The goal of LaBIS research is to understand systemic molecular and biochemical interactions in organisms of economic interest, focusing from fermentation promoted by fungi and bacteria to produce bioproducts to the digestion of insects that impact agriculture. The projects seek to integrate different sources of information using classical approaches of computational biology and bioinformatics plus methodologies for the analysis of large volumes of data in Molecular Biology.
